My Little Pony Paradise Island
My Little Pony! Those wonderfully cute ponies with amazing hair! I'm not a huge fan but I went shopping at Winners(place for discounted branded items) and was browsing the toy section for board games. Instead of a game, I found this wonderful find! A coconut scented My Little Pony! And it was very cheap! $5! I had to get it! Plus the colour of the pony is pretty nice! The pony's name is Islanne or Isla Bonita. She comes with a little hibiscus clip(I clipped on her tail) and a little information sheet about her. Her birth month is August and she likes the colour sunset red. Her favorite flower is the orchid and she loves to relax on the beach.
Scent: Smells similar to some sunblocks out there but it also has the plastic smell of the pony. Kind of ew? But the other ponies don't have the plastic smell so I'm confused if maybe that is the intended scent.
Product: It's a collector's toy. I don't see how little girls can really have fun with this one. It is from the 25th birthday collection. I probably shouldn't have spent $5 on it but I did so it's now another one of those things to put around my room.
Result: As I mentioned before, this is a great collector's pony! Beautiful colour combinations and it smells like sunblock!

tarte Cheek Stain
I have never tried tanning before or purposely lie beneath the sun for a whole afternoon at the beach but it's interesting and fun to own a tanner around.
Scent: The scent is just the same as the Bronze Goddess. Just like some good coconut milk.
Product: This is the other bronzer from tarte cheek stain collection.
Result: Sunkissed is a much more darker brownish shade compared to Bronze Goddess. The colour is close to soy sauce for your sushi or the tanning oil you put on before you tan. It's much more runnier/liquid form instead of sticky. Slightly more challenging to control because it's so dark. But still a very fun product to have!

Mott's Piña Colada Mix
Mott's Mr & Ms T's Piña Colada Beverage Mix
The holidays are here and parties are heating up! Just in time for a drink that brings you back the warmth from the blazing sun on the beach. Pre-mixed beverage mixes are known to be so-so on the taste and quality but it's always good to have lying around in case you want to make a drink and relax without having to go through buying and preparing the ingredients just for a drink or two.Taste: I have to say it's ok and it's pretty darn close to the real piña colada. The instructions are pretty easy to understand too! For a single drink it's 4 1/2 ounces of the mix + 1 1/2 ounce of rum and 2 cups of ice. You blend it up into slush and off you go!
Result: Price wise.. I probably don't think it's really that much more cheaper than the ingredients combined. I don't incredibly like the taste but it will have to do when it's cold out and you don't want to run to the market to get stuff.

tarte Cheek Stain
Winter blues and pale faces? Rosy cheeks are so last year. I have now become fascinated with bronzers and the cheek stains from tarte. I notice that some dark brown on the face can make your face glow and make an illusion of it being skinnier. I like it!
Scent: Wow! Coconut! Creamy coconut milk smell! It's so awesome that it matches the theme!
Product: tarte makes these really cute cheek stains that are so easy to use. They are great for all skin types(I believe) at least I think it's great for my skin and for dry ones. The only way I can describe this is as if you're rubbing a short stubby glue stick on your cheek. It may look quite
hard to control the colour but it's not as hard as it looks. Quick swipe and you just smudge it to however you like. It's sticky but it quickly dries up but not dried up that your skin is tight.
Result: Bronzed Goddess is a lightly tinted brownish bronze with a slight shimmer. When it goes on it goes on light but you can see the tint slightly. I don't think it's meant to give you the "dark" look but more of just a glow, hence the shimmer. It's pretty natural for every day I think. Definitely a great product to try even if it's in another colour!

L'Aromarine Coco
L'Aromarine Coco Perfume Extract
This is my first L'Aromarine product. I'm fairly new to the perfumes from France. This brand is quite luxurious at a decent price. This here is one of their famous perfume extracts. Perfume extracts can be used in many ways from making your own perfume(with alcohol), bath oils and reviving your fragrance bags. It's also great that they have many scents for this one type.Scent: It's described as Tropical Coconut or a Bakery Exclusive Coconut. It's definitely tropical and sweet. Some pineapple and banana thrown in as well. It's strong but not overpowering and too warm. In fact, it smells really good! It could be a tropical bouquet!
Product: I love how versatile this product can be. Used on yourself or around the home. It comes in a small bottle but a drop or 2 is really all you need so I believe it's pretty worth the amount charged. However, I wonder if it's possible to be used as aromatherapy.
Result: The smell is nice and the product is useful. Pretty small to travel with too. Definitely a must-have for all tropical and/or coconut lovers!
